Popia Manis

This snack is very easy to made but time consumed. 



Choc-Chip Orange Cupcake

Ingredients:
8 oz butter ( Kim used 227gm)
6 oz sugar ( Kim used 160g castor sugar )
280gm plain flour + 2 tsp baking powder ( Kim used Self Raising Flour)
4 eggs ( Kim used small eggs )
5 1/2 Tablespoons orange juice
4 teaspoon orange rind
100gm choc-chips ( Kim used raisins 1 packet )
Pinch of salt ( Kim omitted )

Method:
Sift the plain flour with baking powder and salt, set aside.
Cream the butter, sugar and orange rind till light, fluffy and creamy.
Add in eggas one at a time, mix well.
Fold in sifted flour alternatively with the orange juice.
Add in the choc-chips, mix thoroughly, scraping from the
bottom and sides of the mixing bowl.
Line a patty tin with cupcake liners and spoon over tbe batter.
Bake in a preheated oven @ 180 deg C and bake for about
20 - 25 minutes, or till golden brown.
Test with a skewer till it comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let cool in pan for about 10 minutes, before removing from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
Serve. 

Ayam Sos Siam

1 ekor ayam sederhana besar - dipotong 8 - 10 bahagian
Sedikit garam
Sedikit serbuk kunyit

Bahan-bahan Kisar:
15 tangkai cili padi thai ( Kim guna lebih sebab nak pedas lagi )
4 ulas bawang putih
Daun limau purut dan daun kunyit ( Kim juga buat sama macam Ita )

1 labu bawang besar - dihiris
1/3 cawan sos cili
1 - 2 helai daun kunyit - dihiris halus
2 - 3 helai daun limau purut ( Kim juga buat sama macam Ita )
1 batang serai - dititik ( Kim juga buat sama macam Ita )
Sedikit Gula ( Kim tidak letak )
1 kiub ayam ( Kim juga buat sama macam Ita )
minyak masak secukupnya
Garam secukup rasa

Cara-cara:
Bersihkan ayam dan toskan.
Lumur ayam dengan garam dan serbuk kunyit secukupnya.  Perap 20 minit.
Panaskan minyak secukupnya dan goreng ayam hingga 3/4 masak.  Angkat dan toskan dan ketepikan.

Keluarkan minyak dan tinggal lebih kurang 3 sudu besar dan tumis bawang besar, bahan kisar dan serai hingga naik bau.
Masukkan sos cili dan kacau rata dan biar hampir kering sedikit, jangan api jangan terlalu besar nanti hangus.
Masukkan ayam yang telah digoreng tadi dan kacau gaul rata-rata.  Seimbangkan rasa - Kim tidak letak garam dan gula kerna semua dah secukup rasa.
Akhir sekali masukkan daun kunyit dan kacau rata sebentar.
Tutup api dan hidangkan dengan nasi putih.
       

Baby Doughnuts

Ingredients:
250g Plain Flour  ( Kim used Superfine Flour )
80g Sweet Potato / Potato - steamed & mashed ( Kim used sweet potato weighed then steamed )
2 Tablespoons Milk Powder
1 Grade B Egg - lightly beaten
90ml Warm Water / Fresh Milk ( Kim used fresh milk )
1 1/2 tablespoons Margarine
2 tablespoons Sugar ( Kim used castor sugar )
4g / 1 1/2 teaspoon Instant Yeast
Method:-
Mix all and knead for 8 - 10 minutes. ( Kim - If hand are sticky coat with some flour not too much ).
Cover and rest until doubled-up.
Punch the dough and divide into small balls ( Kim - punch and throw the dough into the basin ).
Shape it into doughnuts.
Arrange on a tray and let it rise and doubled-up.
Deep fry until golden in color.
Coat with sugar of chocolate ( Kim - coat with icing sugar and cinnamon powder ).

Note : Tips frm HomeKreation: For colorful topping, i used white chocolate and colour it as you like.  Use warm jam for filling and inject through the doughnuts.
